Frisbee Knock Down
Grade Level: K - 12
Equipment: Cone, Tennis Ball, 4 Frisbee
Divide the class into 4 teams and place them on 4 opposite sides of the gym facing one another. Place a cone with a tennis ball on top in the middle of the 4 teams. Teams should be the same distance away from the cone (20 - 40 feet: Decided by teacher). Assign each team a color and have a matching color Frisbee in front of each team. Assign every team member a number (each team member will share a number with a member on all the other teams). Teacher calls a number and the team member on each team that has that number must run out and slide their Frisbee on the ground and try to knock the tennis ball off of the cone. Which ever player hits the cone first gets a point for their team. They then set the cone back up and the teacher calls another number. Playerss must throw from behind the line the teacher assigns. Teacher can change the distance up to make it harder. Players can block another teams Frisbee from hitting the cone.
