As with last years field day, because of construction we have very limited space for a proper field day. We will do our best to still have a great time and celebrate the end of the year and the last year in the "old" May Howard. Students will participate in their field day in the morning, eat lunch and then in the afternoon we will finish with the color run raising money for the "KISS-A-PIG" fundraiser. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THE SCHEDULE CAREFULLY. CLASSES WILL NOT ROTATE IN NUMBER ORDER. You will compete against another class in your grade at MOST of the stations. There will be some stations that you may be the only class there.
Free Dress Down
I am asking each class to try to dress in the same color. If a student does not own a shirt of this color, it is OK. Teachers, you are encourage to make shirts (i.e. tie dye, single color with names on back, or whatever you can think of) Please see below for the color that your class has been assigned. Teachers, please send this information home with your students, or place in your weekly newsletter.
Field Day Schedule, Map, and Plan (Available Now)
TeachersTeachers are asked to please print out a copy of the map and schedule. Please make sure you take a look at where your class will begin and end prior to the day of Field Day. Without the homeroom teachers, Field Day would not be possible.
If you are a teacher volunteering at a station please download a copy of the schedule so you know where and when to be at your station. If you have any questions about what you are doing at your station, please see Mr. Sauers. Please also try to come to the gym as soon as possible on this day to get the equipment you will need. The kids thank you for making this day fun. |
Room mothersI am asking room mothers to please provide only a water/juice for their class/grade level on the day of Field Day. I know in the past we had snacks but because we will not be out there incredibly long I have changed this to just water. Instead of having it at a station, please have the water in classroom before field day so the students can bring it outside during their field day event.
